Nick worked three years at Digital Kitchen as an animator and a photographer where he made TV commercials and title sequences. You can see that work at his portfolio, CreamyOrange.

Nick also founded an iPhone App company called BananaCameraCo and a motion design education site called Greyscalegorilla. You can see his random “bloggy-blog” stuff at Quick Multiball and him pretend to be a musician and a song writer at CampbellandMonson. Lately, he has been speaking to students and creatives about how to be creative and get paid to do what you love.

Nick works and lives in Chicago where he drinks a lot of craft beer, plays a lot of pinball, and listens to a lot of podcasts.

January = Happiness

We’re excited to announce that CreativeMornings will be hosting unified themes across our 40+ chapters starting in 2013. This month, over 5,000 attendees will meet up at CreativeMornings events on six continents for speakers that relate to our January theme, “Happiness” brought to you by MailChimp.

Through these themes, we hope to stir up a global conversation among our fantastic, local creative communities. Themes for future months will be announced later on in the new year.

About CreativeMornings

CreativeMornings is a monthly morning gathering for creative types. Each event includes a 20 minute lecture, followed by a 20 minute group discussion. The gathering begins at 8:30am with the topic presentation starting at 9:00am and everyone taking off for work at 10am. CreativeMornings are free of charge!

The Chicago chapter is run by Mig Reyes of 37signals.
